Greater Lake City Artists' Guild

Home - Grown Art in the Heart of Lake City

Born out of Artfields, the Greater Lake City Artists' Guild (GLCAG) was organized and incorporated in June, 2012. The GLACG promotes an active creative arts community for the people of Lake City, the Pee Dee Region, and the State of South Carolina. Throughout the year, a diverse creative arts collection features:

  • Exhibits and events of artisan fine art (pottery, stained glass, sculpture, basketry)
  • Gourmet dining/culinary studies
  • Literary interests (writing, poetry)
  • Media arts (photography)
  • Performing arts (music, dance, theater)
  • Visual fine arts (painting, all mediums)

In addition to exhibits, this independent, nonprofit, and all-volunteer organization sponsors workshops and hands-on opportunities for both experienced and inexperienced artists of all ages. Through these events and educational outreach endeavors, guild and non-guild artists experience the ability to showcase and sell their works within the community.

The GLCAG also collaborates with and receives support from Florence Regional Arts Alliance, Lake City Partnership Council, and Lake City Community Foundation.
